Tuition fees and admission to the Faculties of Nursing
If you want to study nursing in Romania, then you are surely interested in two important aspects: tuition fees and the admission process.
- TUITION FEES
As I said at the beginning, Romania is known as the country with the lowest taxes when it comes to education or living conditions.
Each year, taxes may change (increase or decrease), but the difference is never large. Fees range from 4. 500 – 8,000 Lei and 3,500 Euros – 8,000 Euros.
They can change annually, so don’t hesitate to check the faculties’ website!
By choosing a medical school, there will always be unpredictable costs, but by choosing one of the universities where to study nursing in Romania, you won’t have to worry about fees.
- ADMISSION
As it is part of the medical field, admission to the Faculties of Nursing is mostly limited to a grid exam in one or more of the subjects biology, chemistry or physics, and in some cases the grade from the baccalaureate exam or from the profile test in mathematics also counts.
For foreign students, there may be differences, so they should equate their documents and wait for their confirmation. If you want to attend the courses in Romanian, as a foreign student, then the admission will be under the normal structure, but to do so, you must first enroll in the Preparatory Year of Romanian, where you will learn the specialized terms that will be useful to you over the years.
Skills of a Nurse
To be a good nurse you will learn some skills and abilities during the years of study. Nurses have an important role in the health system, so it is good that they share a series of practical and social skills.
The most important skill that an assistant can have is the solid knowledge he learns during college, which helps him understand human physiology and anatomy, treatments and pathologies specific to humans, but they must know them not only in theory, but also in practice.
Another skill of an assistant is to always be empathetic and communicative, as they communicate daily with patients, in as many numbers as possible, of all ages, who come from various social backgrounds.
Another essential skill in the nursing profession is organization and attention to detail, because they have to manage several tasks at once (for example, administering medications and monitoring patients). If he makes a mistake, there will be serious consequences.
Our interest is to help you as much as possible to find the university that suits you the most, where you will be able to implement your values.
So, if you are determined to study nursing in Romania, don’t hesitate to ask us for help!
